I remember being in my corporate role craving a life with more freedom. A life where I could have more impact and work with who I loved to work with every day, choosing when I wanted time off with no one telling me I had run out of holiday days, or that my holiday request didn't fit in with the business needs.
I was doing well and progressing, but something deep within me knew that I was destined for more. I wanted to have a bigger impact, and I wanted to have the flexibility to take holiday when I wanted, to be around to look after my children and to not feel guilty about taking time off to go to doctors appointments, or school events.
Fast forward a few years, where a breakdown forced me to reevaluate my life and what was important to me. All those promises of climbing the corporate ladder didn't mean anything when I was crying uncontrollably and suffering from panic attacks. Not even being able to drive past my work building without being overwhelmed by the feeling of anxiety.
I left my job with nothing else to go to, but I knew I couldn't stay and work like this any longer. This is the moment in my life, where my breakdown led to my breakthrough.
I found coaching, NLP and mindfulness and after years of using these techniques to recover from my breakdown, I decided to use my passion to start my coaching and consulting business and help other people create the life and business that would give them more freedom and satisfaction in life.
